As I get ready to venture into the green building industry, I find many green building/ sustainable building consultants. Just thought of creating a ready to use list which I might need in the future. I will try and create some kind of categories, in terms of their geography, building type, market segment. At the moment I will just list them.

One green building consulting company that is worth looking at is Environmental Building Strategies. I recently worked with them on a project and both Matt and Ryan were very attentive and knowledgable. They are both LEED AP’s and you can see their website at http://www.ebsconsultants.net as well a link to their blog. They are a new company in the field and have a great deal of potential. They are currently located in the Bay Area of California.
Lord Green Real Estate Strategies has extensive experience is assisting existing office buildings in achieving LEED certification. They have clients throughout the nation. The company is led by Mychele Lord, a true leader in this field. She chaired BOMA’s Energy & Environment Committee and her clients include the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
I am often searching for recent articles in the internet about this topic. Thanks!!
